On June 16, 2025, Udata Joint Stock Company (Vietnam) and Zeroboard Inc. (Japan) signed a strategic cooperation agreement, officially launching the cloud-based greenhouse gas emissions management platform – Uzero – in Vietnam. This product is the result of co-development and co-branding between the two parties, under the name “Uzero – powered by Zeroboard.”

Uzero is a SaaS platform that helps businesses calculate, visualize, and manage greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in Scope 1 and 2. It aims to support companies in meeting international ESG standards and achieving their Net Zero roadmap. The solution is designed to be flexible, fitting the specific operational context of Vietnamese businesses, and integrates automatic data collection from IoT devices to replace traditional manual data entry.
Mr. Shintaro Suzuki, Managing Director & Head of APAC Regional Business at Zeroboard, shared: “Zeroboard is honored to partner with Udata to bring Japan’s emission technology solutions to the Vietnamese market. We highly appreciate the green transformation potential here and believe that the combination of technology and real data from IoT devices will help Vietnamese businesses monitor and reduce emissions more effectively.”

From Udata’s side, Mr. Nguyễn Hoàn Lâm, Chief Executive Officer, commented: “Partnering with Zeroboard not only brings to the Vietnamese market a powerful emissions calculation platform but also completes the value chain Udata is building – from data collection and energy/environmental monitoring to emissions analysis and reporting. This is a major step forward in providing customers with access to modern ESG tools and promoting sustainable development.”
Zeroboard is currently one of Japan’s leading environmental technology companies, with over 13,000 clients across Asia, including major corporations such as Toyota, Panasonic, Mitsubishi, Honda, Toshiba, and Aeon. The platform is internationally certified with ISO 14064-3 and has attracted investments from leading groups such as MUFG Bank, Mitsui & Co., and Kansai Electric.

The signing ceremony is not only a milestone marking Udata’s entry onto the global stage but also opens up broad cooperation opportunities between Vietnam and Japan in the green technology sector. It is also a shared commitment from both parties to support Vietnamese enterprises on their journey toward digitalized environmental management and comprehensive green growth.
